Hello, my name is Moira Gallagher. I have been a licensed & certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for going on 8 years. I have worked in the medical industry for 13 years providing direct and indirect patient care services. I have been a student + human for 35 years of life and counting. I have been pursuing my certification to be sound healer only since May 26, 2025, but excited to incorporate it into medical, holistic, or spiritual healing spaces.
Whether your goals are to schedule an ordained wedding ceremony officiant, or pursuing services for rehabilitation with for increasing strength in voice, swallowing, and speech function, or if your goals of care are to preserve comfort, quality of life, and dignity throughout your end of life journey.
Whether it be medical, ceremonial, or holistic — my goal is always to serve & support my community with dignity throughout the stages of the life-death-rebirth cycle!

Clinical Swallow Evaluation | $200
Comprehensive medical case history interview, identifying potential dysphagia or risk factors affecting your swallowing safety or efficiency. Cranial nerve and oral mechanism exam to evaluate the 5 important cranial nerves which support oropharyngeal swallow function (Trigeminal, Facial, Glossopharyngeal, Vagus, and Hypoglossal). Complete informal or subjective clinical swallow evaluation with food and liquid for referrals, recommendations for diet and strategies, reviewing any signs/symptoms or risk factors of aspiration and educate if there is need to further assess through our mobile instrumental swallow study or FEES. Or refer out for Videofluoroscopic Swallow Study (VFSS) as needed.
Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing Mobile (FEES) | $400
Mobile nasopharyngoscopy instrumental evaluation of swallowing. Diagnose prevalence and severity of dysphagia (difficulty swallowing), extensive anatomical and physiological evaluation of swallow safety and efficiency using evidenced based diagnostic report, with appropriate referrals, and treatment recommendations for liquid and solid consistencies, modifications, maneuvers, strategies, and education on pillars of aspiration pneumonia with risk-benefit analysis across textures.
Voice Evaluation w/FEES Imaging Screen | $300
Mobile comprehensive voice evaluation with laryngeal screening through use of FEES nasopharyngoscopy. Includes an interview and patient self-assessment questionnaire, perceptual analysis and rate characteristics of the voice like quality, pitch, loudness, and resonance. Analysis, documentation with recommendations, referrals and treatment plan options.
Fluency Evaluation | $200
Detailed case history and interview performed. Cognitive-behavioral and objective evaluation of stuttering or motor speech impairment relating to developmental or medical related decline with use of speech samples, transcription and evaluation of dysfluencies, and detailed evaluation report with treatment recommendations.
AAC Evaluation | $300
Complete communication assessment through observation of current ability, identify core and fringe functional communication needs, provide feature matching, system selection, access method, symbol system, provide detailed evaluation documentation with options for device trial and training recommendations.
Cognitive-Linguistic Evaluation | $300
Adult or geriatric cognitive or linguistic evaluation related to TBI, stroke, dementia, or a myriad of other diagnoses which lead to a cognitive or linguistic decline. Whether its related to memory, executive function, attention, receptive or expressive language - I am here to help evaluate areas in need of improvement to curate a personalized treatment plan related to your functional goals.
Speech Pathology Therapeutic Treatment
Any Domain | $150/hour
Offerings to adolescents or adults in most domains within scope of practice of an SLP including but not limited to motor speech deficits, fluency disorders, swallowing deficits/dysphagia, voice, neurodiverse populations (ADHD, Autism, complex trauma) where treatment may relate to pragmatics to improve social or functional communication verbal and nonverbal or Augmentative and Alternative means of Communication (AAC). Therapy plans lay out long term and short term goals in domain of focus. I can work on multiple domains per session! Evaluations would be separate.
Medical Patient Advocate $55/hour
Practicing in acute care on front line hospital setting my whole career, my primary role was SLP, secondary role has always been a patient advocate. I want to help people understand their medical diagnoses, coordinate goals of care plan to medical team, help educate family, friends, and loved ones of your personal medical situation. I can offer an unmatched empathetic support system for you in you or your loved ones most vulnerable state when medically fragile in hospital setting.

Interview on what is coming up for you at this time emotionally, balancing your meridian points with intuitive use of tuning forks, singing bowls, and vocal resonance matching for a personalized resonate frequency sound bath healing session. Session times offered include 30 min, 60 min, or 75 minutes. I am also open to building packages or doing group rates for businesses and organizations.

Pulsetto is the only external cervical spine external vagus nerve stimulator, which is placed around neck as a wearable device. End of Life/Death Doula Consult | $350
Post consult support $155/hour
A death doula, also known as an end-of-life doula or death midwife, is typically a non-medical professional who provides support and guidance to individuals nearing the end of life and their families. Death doulas help to normalize the dying process and create a comfortable and peaceful environment. There is no official governing national certification to become a death doula, however I have taken continuing education on end of life care. With me, you get the best of both worlds, as medical SLP in hospital setting, I have worked closely with end of life as it related to dysphagia management and both palliative care and hospice professionals relating to advanced goal planning. In this role I would provide emotional support, education/guidance, practical assistance, vigil and companionship in dying process, provide legacy prep, caregiver and grief support. Sound healing would be incorporated during support sessions as desired!
The snake with the single staff is the symbol of Asclepius the Greek God of Healing and medicine, and this symbol became popular in the medical profession. This symbol has always deeply resonated with my soul.
Spiritually, the snake often gets a bad reputation. It is often seen as bad or evil. However, if you look past the narrative, the true essence of the snake represents flow between the light and the dark. A snake sheds its skin, representing the relationship between life, death, and rebirth. Shedding the old patterns to explore a new skin, new life, to shift and change.

Getting Married, Renewing your Vows, or Desire to be led in Ceremony?
Another offering is to hold spiritual ceremonial space for those in and around my community. In July of 2024 I was ordained by the Universal Life Church after my brother and his future wife asked me to officiate their wedding.
It was an honor hold that space for my brother, his wife, and our family. I am feeling called to officiate more weddings and hold more sacred moments together in community, especially over the celebration of love. My partner and love of my life for the past 8 years is a wedding & events videographer. His name is Chip Connell and his amazing company is called Heart Beat Co!
